Centara Kata Resort Phuket, Kata Beach (Phuket)

We had a mixed experience at the hotel. The spacious rooms were quite comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. However, some areas felt outdated and could use a good clean, particularly in the dining department. In terms of value, we enjoyed our stay but found the dining options to be average, and the breakfast could have offered more variety.

This resort is a hidden gem, nicely tucked away from the main street yet offers a lovely, open foyer that made me feel instantly welcome. The staff was charming and attentive, making the check-in a breeze. The rooms, while comfortable and laid out well, could use a little updating, but the proximity to the pool was a big plus. The main restaurant had decent food, though the loud music can be a bit much. Overall, it's a great place for families looking to enjoy the area without emptying their wallets.
